A Prayer for Today

To pray

Is to practice loving.

To hate

Is to practice dying.

Living in hope

Is a spiral of denial.

Yet acceptance

May be cowardice.

Bravery is

To pray.

For XX

Fall into line

And follow suit.

Don't have much to lose -

PROVE IT!

Debt's been paid,

Hubris swallows id.

Carnal knowledge cannot

Conquer emotional autism.

My private moments 

Are still my own.

Sticks, rocks, and stones-

Hermit contemplates Magician.

Zen is my Eden!

Transcend delusion?

Or commit to dream

Amiably, with gratitude.

Self-pity is a cancer,

Love, the braggart.
